Emily settles down to sleep with her beloved stuffed animal Cinnamon Bear, safely tucked up with Hug the quilt. When a sparkling star-beam comes tapping at the window, Emily tries to shoo it away, but she ends up winding it up like shining wool for miles and miles through and over the nighttime world, where she finds herself in the world of angels.
